Cima Cece (mt. 2754)

Cima Cece (mt. 2754)

This fatiguing trekking – for trained hikers – finishes by the end of the day, leaving from Bellamonte.

Climb down and cross Scofa towards the river Travignolo. Overpass it, then climb up to Cece lakes (mt. 1880) and to Caserina (mt. 2088). Keep on walking up the valley till the saddle Cece (mt. 2393), go on your way on the trail that crosses down the peak till the northern side (mt. 2643) and from here to the left up to the peak.

The way back to the chalets of Bellamonte can be done on the same trail or by climbing down towards the saddle Valmaggiore, then go on walking in the trail “Don Battistin” (nr. 336Bis) that crosses the ridge again till Caserina and from here again to Cece lakes.

To limit the big difference in height, you can alternatively leave from “Bridge of Valmaggiore” (mt. 1570) with a circular climb up from the saddle Valmaggiore (trail nr. 335), then pass near the homonymous malga and climb down the saddle Cece, the homonymous lake and Campigolo Grande (trail nr. 336) or vice versa.
